with the participation of (50) experts and representatives of entities concerned with civil work and members of the House of Representatives The third round table entitled: The role of civil organizations in Achieving the first goal of the sustainable development goals 2030, which is concerned with "eliminating poverty" .
under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the General Union of NGOs and international and local authorities. The third round table was organized on the first goal of sustainable development goals 2030 and concerned with eliminating Poverty aimed at the meeting opened the door for discussion and dialogue between the participants in the meeting on three axes, which are :
- The first axis: The current situation of the social protection policies system (achievements / challenges) in light of Egypt's strategic vision for sustainable development 2030
The second axis: The current contribution of civil organizations in strengthening safety networks for the most needy groups to achieve the first goal (reality and hope)
- the third axis: the future of the partnership between the private sector and both the government sector and the private sector to investigate the first goal concerned with eliminating poverty
The meeting ended with an agreement on a number of important recommendations on increasing the contributions of civil organizations in achieving the first goal. It was also agreed that these recommendations are formulated with a policy paper at the earliest time and is raised socially.
It is worth noting that this meeting comes within a series of meetings that are planned during the current year "round tables" in order to come out with a proposed societal vision on ways to activate The role of civil organizations in achieving the sustainable development goals 2030 in light of the announcement of the Egyptian state in 2022 The year of civil society.
